These events fund the planting and maintenance of nine gardens throughout the village and town of Warwick and programs such as Garden Therapy at Mt. Alverno, 

Arbor Day, Scholarship Fund for students majoring in Horticultural Science, Library book donations and the Railroad Green Holiday Project.

August 11, Saturday 10:30 am

Garden Therapy, “Gifts from the Garden” – Members of the

team share flowers from their gardens. Residents share

memories of their gardens.

General Meeting - Wine & Cheese Membership Drive

September 22, Saturday 9:30 am

Program: Visit PepsiCo Sculpture Gardens

in Westchester County. See famous modern sculptures set

amongst rolling lawns, trees, lily ponds and gardens.

Admission is free. Lunch at a restaurant tbd.

Flower Arranging, “Shades of Autumn”

Residents harness the shades of fall to create a flower

arrangement.

Program: ‘Growing Beautiful Food‘  Program:  

Program change: "The Edges of the Garden"

Dan Mack, Warwick-based rustic builder and Dirt columnist, explores 
"The Edges of the Garden" in which he focuses on varieties of simple, natural fencing, particularly as installed at the 3 Pines Nature Place at the Warwick Community Center. Our choices of fencing, borders and edging are a reflection of ourselves.  Join us as we consider how we border our gardens.

Program: ‘Hands-on Holiday Workshop’ led by Amy from

Corwin Florist and Greenhouses. Bring an apron and clippers to

make your own arrangement.

Holiday Project Lighting of the Green, Railroad Avenue

The Warwick Valley Gardeners decorate the park for the holidays.

Join us in the celebration and lighting of the green.

December 15, Saturday 10:30 am

Garden Therapy: Flower Arranging. “Christmas Joy”

Team members and residents create an arrangement using

seasonal greens, berries and flowers to create a beautiful

display that they can enjoy or give as a gift.
