These events fund the planting and maintenance of nine gardens throughout the village and town of Warwick and programs such as Garden Therapy at Mt. Alverno, Arbor Day, Scholarship Fund for students majoring in Horticultural Science, Library book
donations and the Railroad Green Holiday Project.

Visit “Flying Trillium Gardens and Preserve” Located in Liberty NY with lunch following in Garrison, N.Y.

This preserve has over 300 trees & shrubs native to the Northeast. Homeowners & designers can view how various native plants are used in a garden setting. Free Admission.

Fundraising event to benefit community programs and the maintenance of 9 gardens throughout the Town of Warwick. Tour several spectacular selected area gardens.

Program: “Climate Change and Gardening”

Carolyn Summers, noted author, teacher, landscape designer and owner of Flying Trillium Gardens and Preserve based in Sullivan County,  will introduce native plants as one resource for combating climate change in our gardens.  Carolyn is a dynamic speaker.

August 2, Friday 9:00 am

Day trip to Ulster County. Come and enjoy this two-part day trip to Kerhonkson, NY. The day begins with the “Talk and Tea” program at the Catskill Native Nursery (native plants for sale). Followed by a tour of the nearby private Bradford Graves Sculpture Park with most sculptures set in nature.

Lunch break at a local restaurant. Carpooling recommended.
